A Nice Little Freshener!
After too long with no new snow, last night’s deposit proved almost ideal. While the hill was only claiming 10 cms, I thought it skied like quite a bit more. It was dense, without being too heavy, and thus ideal for covering the firm underpinnings. Where there were lots of people, it of course got scraped into piles, but the resulting patches were more firm than icy. Even late in the day something like Sunnyside was still quite nice, while stuff in the boonies was delightful.
At 16:20 it is -2 C at the house and mainly clear.
Tumblr had some problems yesterday. It shows this as being from the 15th, but it was actually posted on Tuesday the 14th.
